I’m unable to finish my registration, what’s wrong?

Please review the details of your application carefully.

Common Reasons for Loan Application Issues

  1. Existing Account or Active Loan:

    • If you already have an account, you must use it to apply for a loan. Creating a new account is not allowed if your data is already registered.

    • Only one loan can be active at a time. You must repay your current loan before applying for a new one.

  2. Unmet Eligibility Requirements:

    • You must meet the following criteria to apply for a loan:

      • Be at least 21 years old.

      • Reside in UK.

      • Not be listed in a credit default registry.

      • Have a valid bank account and Full time employed.

  3. Rejected Loan Applications:

    • If your loan application was rejected, you must wait 90 days before submitting a new application. During this period, the system will prevent new requests.

  4. System Notifications:

    • If you see a message indicating your details already exist, it typically means a recent loan application was rejected, and the 90-day waiting period applies.

  5. Loan Rejection Reasons:

    • If your loan application was rejected, you should receive an email explaining the decision. Common reasons include being listed in a debtors’ register or an internal Creditstar decision.

Understanding the 90-Day Waiting Period

  • After a rejected loan application, you must wait 90 days before submitting a new request. This waiting period is mandatory and applies to all users.

  • During this time, the system will block new applications and related verification steps, such as code delivery. Once the 90-day period has passed, you can apply again.

Steps to Resolve Account-Related Problems

If your Creditstar profile was deactivated, follow these steps to re-register your account:

  1. Visit the Creditstar website.

  2. Choose the loan amount you want and click “Submit.”

  3. Enter your email and click “Continue.”

  4. Check your email for verification.

  5. After adding your mobile number, you will receive a text verification.

  6. Provide the requested personal and other information to complete registration.

Troubleshooting Verification Code Issues

  • If you are not receiving the verification code, it may be due to the 90-day waiting period after a rejected application. The system restricts verification steps during this time. Once the waiting period ends, you can proceed with a new application.
